Article- Mammalian Toxicity Testing of Semilinear and Branched Alcohol Ethoxylates
The widespread use of chemicals requires the characterization and communication of their potential hazards. This is particularly important to ensure safe use of chemicals, such as surfactants, to which individuals may be exposed both in the workplace and at home. This report serves to make accessible previously unpublished toxicological data from 59 toxicology studies on alcohol ethoxylates (AE) produced from branched and semilinear alcohols produced by ExxonMobil, with alcohol backbones ranging from C9 to C15.
